CSR is the cornerstone of the Genlis Metal strategy. It is a testament to our commitment to a sustainable future.

Our initiatives are rigorously monitored and effectively communicated to ensure we achieve concrete, demonstrable results. By incorporating CSR in our culture, Genlis Metal is determined to become a leading player in our industry, while still responding to our stakeholders’ expectations.

Our impact

Genlis Metal has already implemented several sustainability and social responsibility initiatives. Chief among them are monitoring and treating wastewater and recovering rainwater. In 2024, we reduced our carbon footprint by using recycled materials, which now account for nearly 85% of all materials used. Many efforts are underway to reduce energy consumption, including the use of solar panels and waste heat recovery systems.

To boost our CSR commitment even further, Genlis Metal aims to formalise our internal governance further, improve communication on our performance and structure our decision-making processes. We also set specific targets, such as an 8% reduction in carbon emissions (per tonne produced) by 2030.

Environmental pledgE

Genlis Metal is committed to actively combating climate change. Currently, using renewable energy and optimising energy consumption are at the heart of our strategy. Installing solar panels is a significant step towards achieving this objective.
